Nigerian Teachers Sent Abroad For Training Refuse To Return After Graduation
The government of Jigawa State has suspend indefinitely in-service training courses for teachers following the action of some primary school teachers said to have gone for in-service training courses in universities across the world, but have refused to come back to Nigeria long after the completion of their studies and consequently, have not reported to their places of work.
The issue came up following the commencement of verification of primary school teachers across the 27 local government areas of the state. Not long ago, the Jigawa State government inaugurated a special verification committee aimed at smoking out ghost teachers and absentees.
As a result of the action of the teachers who absconded abroad, the government has not only been compelled to suspend in-service training courses, it has also set up special committee to find those involved and other workers in the education sector receiving salaries without coming to work. The government was angry and highly disappointed that the teachers betrayed its trust by remaining abroad when their expertise was needed back home

Dangote fires 36 Expatriates, 12 Nigerians over Poor Business
Recession is sure affecting many, including the very rich. The current hardship rocking the economy has hit one of the biggest employers of labour in Nigeria as the Dangote Group, belonging to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has fired 48 senior members of staff.
Those sacked were made up of 36 expatriate and 12 Nigerian workers from the group’s headquarters and one of the subsidiaries, Dangote Cement Plc.
Though no official of the group was willing to speak on the matter, The Punch gathered from highly placed sources that the decision to sack the workers was not unconnected with the current high cost of running business in the country occasioned by the unavailability of foreign exchange and the unprecedented hike in the naira to dollar exchange rate.
It was further gathered that the huge amounts in foreign currencies being paid to the expatriate workers had become a burden on Dangote due to the steady depreciation in the value of the naira and the difficulties of raising enough dollars.
Consequently, Dangote, according to sources, has decided to replace the expatriates with Nigerians, who have acquired the requisite experience on the job, and he will be paying them in naira.
For the affected Nigerians, it was gathered that most of them had disciplinary issues, which made it easy for the group to do away with their services.

Teacher admits to putting his male organ inside the mouth of a 12 year old girl but denies raping her
20 year old man, Enilolobo Olamilekan who is a
Lagos state indigene and a teacher at
Agbokunloko College, Ikotun, Lagos State,
Tuesday denied raping a 12-year-old, Junior
Secondary School 2 girl. He said the only thing
he did to her was put his p*nis in her mouth.
After he defiled the girl, he said he didn't expect
her to tell her parents but she did. The little girl
told her mum who raised the alarm and reported
the case Ikotun Police Division.
The Police went to his home and arrested him.
While paraded by the Police Olamilekan, told
newsmen what happened. He said:
“I usually teach the victim and two others
after school hours at Ikotun. When the
girl was brought to my place, I said they
should buy a notebook for her, but her
parents did not. Last Wednesday, I gave
her an assignment, but she did not do it.
When she came to me on Thursday
during school period, I asked of the
notebook, she said her mother did not
give her the money. I told her to go to
JSS one class and join the other two
girls; that I would soon be with them.
“When I was done with my classes, I
joined them there and taught them for
the day. My house is not far from the
school. My mum called me to come
home and do the dishes. “I told the girl to
go with me, that I would buy the
notebook for her at a woman’s shop near
my house. She went with me; I bought
the book for her and she said she was
hungry. I bought biscuit for her and as I
was about to go, the woman said I
should bring her bottle which had been
with me. I told her I would bring it later,
but she refused. She said the victim
should go with me to the house, so that I
would give her the bottle. That was how
the girl went with me to the house.
“I took her inside our parlour. I put her
on the chair and put my manhood in her
mouth. I did not touch her private part.
They have done a test and confirmed I
did not touch her there. She did not cry
and she did not complain. But she went
home and reported to her parents. “I only
put my male organ inside the mouth of
the girl. I did not rape her. I just do not
know what got into me.
However, I’m ready to face the
consequences of my action. I know I
have committed a crime and I’m
guilty.Whatever is my punishment; I’ll
face it and hope God would have mercy
on me. I have never done something like
this before. I do not have a girlfriend"

Nigeria Police reportedly recover 19 cars, SUVs from former IG, Solomon Arase
A Special Investigation Panel instituted by the
Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has
reportedly recovered 19 police vehicles from
former IG, Solomon Arase.
According to Sahara Reporters, some of the
vehicles include assorted sedans, Sports Utility
Vehicles and pick-up vans.
The Inspector-General of Police had ordered an
investigation into the purchase and distribution
of vehicles by his predecessors. Inside sources
say the probe was instituted after it was
discovered that retiring police officers, including
former IGs and Deputy Inspectors-General of
Police, were in the habit of appropriating police
vehicles for their personal use.
The 19 vehicles recovered from Arase are apart
from the four vehicles he was entitled to take
with him on retirement.
A senior officer, who is familiar with the
investigation, said the SIP led by Assistant
Inspector-General of Police, Ali Amodu, (retd.)
was still working to recover five additional
vehicles from the former police boss. A source
in the Police said
“We are making progress in our
investigations. We were able to trace 24
vehicles to the former IG and we have
recovered 19 already. He has yet to
release the remaining five, but we won’t
let up until we recover all the vehicles.
We have pictures of the vehicles and they
have been documented, so he can’t deny
it, the recovery is a fact.”

Buhari Orders EFCC To Probe Aisha Buhari and Her Family! First Lady Seeks Asylum In UK!
Reliable information reveal the troubles
bedeviling the 1st family of Nigeria maybe far
from over judging by the demeanor of the
President of the federal republic of Nigeria and
the body language instruction dished out to the
various anti-graft agencies in the country.
A highly reliable source stated that the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] has
opened a comprehensive probe on the person of
the 1st lady over her interaction with the many
lobbyists looking to reach her husband for a
favor.
Source revealed that the relationship between the
1st lady and the President had so much
deteriorated to a near none existent following a
few days after the swearing-in as the President
of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Chief on the top reasons why the President
turned away from the 1st lady was her desire to
play the role of the 1st lady in the manner other
1st ladies had played – in the likes of Stella
Obasanjo, Turaki Yar’Adua and Patience
Jonathan.
Aisha Buhari wanted to have the type of influence
over her husband as the other 1st ladies before
her. She wants to influence who is appointed to
certain sensitive positions in her husband’s
administration, and to effectively control certain
aspect of the government. Source adds that she
had already become a ‘paid’ lobbyist of some
sort. “She did not waste time in collecting money
from businessmen and other people looking to
meet her husband”, said the source who added
that Buhari in the know of her money collecting
activities – that he blocked her out of his daily
activities.
“Buhari would walk in to the house from work in
the evening and he would immediately walk
upstairs to his room and lock the doors to keep
Aisha away from his room“, stated the source as
he explained the cold shoulder given to Aisha by
Mohammadu Buhari immediately he discovered
her intent to become involved in his
administration as his life partner.
According to the source, Buhari was not
comfortable with the information from friends
and associates concerning Aisha’s mingling with
politicians and businessmen who were interested
in meeting with the President. For this reason,
the President decided on avoiding
communication with his wife, the 1st lady. On
some occasion, Mohammadu Buhari had
instructed the 1st to refund the monies collected
from several sources – of which the 1st lady did
not take lightly with her husband.
“Her lifestyle needs money and power, and it is
so different from what Mohammadu Buhari can
tolerate” Information on her upbringing and
background spell extravaganza and luxurious
lifestyle. “She wants and loves money and things
money can buy so much that she is willing to
harbor and encourage corruption” said source
as he continued,
“She is from a different generation from Buhari
and she has little personal relationship with her
husband to enable her relate her concerns to
him“. And he can care less of her opinions on
policies or government matters.
Buhari’s realization of Aisha’s brother, Musa’s
interference in his administration was one of the
initial problems that greeted the President.
Aisha’s brother had begun reaching to individuals
seeking to do business with the Buhari’s
administration – immediately Buhari won the
presidential elections.
Reports have it that he raised amounts in excess
of N500million within a span of six month
following the presidential elections. The President
was not happy with Musa. He directed for Musa
to be bundled out of the Presidential villa and
banished from Villa. A source from the villa told
247ureports.com that he was handcuffed an
escorted out of the villa.
It is to this point that the presidency took to
action. The President, according to the source
instructed for all information of financial wrong
doing by his wife and her siblings should be
directed to the EFCC for further investigation.
The Chairman of the EFCC – who is presently
battling to impress the President – is reported to
have been instructed to begin a broad
investigation into the financial dealings of the 1st
lady and her siblings.
247ureports.com is unsure the extent of the
investigation. But it is certain that the 1st lady
has taken her fate and abandoned Buhari’s home
for the United Kingdom

Over 25 Nigerians arrested in Kenya over visa validity issues
More than 25 Nigerians have been arrested in
Kenya for staying in the East African country
longer than their visas permitted, the Kenya
Immigration office has said.
In a series of tweet to alert Kenyans on Nigerians
flouting the immigration laws, the Kenyan
immigration office said any foreigner seeking
accommodation in the country must show valid
documentations to be admitted.
“Over 25 Nigerians arrested today in Nairobi, Kasarani, Roysambu, Mirema area for being in the country illegally after their visa validity elapsed. Please give report if any around your
area,” the office said. “Most of them stay like 5 or so in one house. Before you rent any foreigner a house, kindly ask for their valid stay documents in Kenya”.
Kenyans immediately began to reply, stating where Nigerians had been found, and the immigration office replied, saying: “Please give detailed info like exact location if any, it will be of help. Please find out on their exact location,
house number or name. That will be of help.” Standard Media, a newspaper in Kenya, reported in September that 17 Nigerians were arrested in
Mlolongo, off Mombasa Road, Machakos County, and found with 48 laptops.
The newspaper said the police said those arrested were staying in groups of between three
and four, and that some of them were believed to be in the country illegally because their visas had expired.
The African Union and the African Development Bank (AfDB) are calling for a visa-free Africa, where borders are virtually erased, business made easy, and cases of illegal immigration curtailed.

Married Zimbabwean Policeman commits suicide after being dumped by girlfriend
A Zimbabwean police officer,
identified as Constable Marapira,
has hung himself after being
dumped by his girl friend. Marapira
sent a WhatsApp message to his
girlfriend Clarice Sagiya, on
Wednesday night, directing her to
where to find his body. According
to reports, the victim, who was
stationed at Masvingo Rural Police
Station in Zimbabwe; said he
funded Sagiya’s education, noting
that she is a final year trainee
teacher at Morgenster Teacher’s
College.
It was revealed that this incident
followed after Clarice’s decision to
dump him on claims that she
couldn’t be with a police officer
anymore as he wouldn’t afford her
upkeep. The officer responded by
killing himself a few metres off the
Mvuma-Gweru Road on Wednesday
night.
Reports also revealed that Marapira
sent message about his intended
suicide at about 21:59PM to Miss
Sagiya’s Econet line. The message
read: “Vanhu vasanetseke kutsvaga
body yangu. Mukasvika paMvuma
vanotena ne Gweru road less than a
kilometre pane mota pa side pe road
chisango to the left (don’t bother
yourselves looking for my body.
When you get to Mvuma, turn
towards Gweru. Less than a
kilometre away, there is a car by the
road side to the left,” the victim
wrote.
At about 12 minutes later that night,
the victim sent a second message
which read;
“ “Ndafira Clarice
Sagiya, meaning; (I died
because of Clarice Sagiya).”
Miss Sagiya supposedly took her
phone with the messages to a police
station, and they headed to the
location where the victim had hung
himself.
Meanwhile, reports say that Cst
Marapira’s family suspects that the
victim was killed. Efforts to get a
comment from Miss Sagiya were
fruitless as a man kept answering
her phone and saying he was far
from where she was, reports say.
However, a Sergeant named, Cripen
Gwashu at the Masvingo police
station said they had not yet
confirmed the matter; “we’re still
dealing with hearsay and are
investigating the true nature of what
happened. At the moment I can’t
comment,” he said.
The current suicide case came in
barely two days after a senior
officer at Bulawayo’s Westgate
Police Station was suspected to have
committed suicide by shooting
himself. Chief Inspector Edgar Dube
(50), the Officer-in-Charge of the
Police Protection Unit at Westgate,
used a service pistol to shoot himself
on Tuesday morning. Reports say.
In his own case, he didn’t leave a
suicide note behind, rather a Bible,
opened to Romans Chapter Two, was
found beside his body.
The first verse reads:
‘ “You, therefore, have no
excuse, you who pass
judgment on someone else,
for at whatever point you
judge another, you are
condemning yourself,
because you who pass
judgment do the same
things,” reports say.

THE CHURCH COLLECTION PLATE GOES DIGITAL: AN APP FOR TITHING
A typical service, Ciamacco says, opens with
a band that would fit in at the Coachella
festival, were it not for the Jesus lyrics: “What
a savior, my Redeemer/Friend of sinners, one
like me.” (In one podcast, a pastor, sermonizing
about society’s obsession with markers of
achievement, uses an Internet-approved term
of endearment to channel his audience, asking,
“When am I going to get my own bae?”)
At the end, a member of the “worship team”
will call on parishioners to tithe and pass the
collection plate. But not all people reach into
their wallet. Many take out their phone instead.
Ciamacco gives each week, using the Tithe.ly
app. It takes fewer than five taps, and built-in
geolocation means he can contribute at any of
the 1,000 churches that subscribe—a feature
that’s especially useful around holidays like
Easter, when many people travel.
Tithe.ly lets worshipers set up automatic
recurring payments, but because Ciamacco’s
paycheck fluctuates with his work as a
freelance video producer, he tithes on demand
—usually about 10 percent of whatever he’s
brought in.
“We see people giving all times of day and
night”
Although churches are saying a collective
hallelujah that a new generation of devotees is
filling pews, a youthful congregation has its
limitations. Twentysomethings might find
religion, but not a lot of them have found that
six-figure job. They don’t carry cash—and
what, exactly, is a personal check? Still, about
a quarter of them use mobile payment apps
such as PayPal and Venmo regularly, according
to a recent Accenture survey.
And enormously popular services such as
Seamless, Uber, and Amazon.com have
normalized one-tap payments—91 percent of
millennials use their phone to buy something at
least once a month, market-research firm
Statista says.
Tithe.ly is one of a handful of apps
leveraging that spending behavior for the good
of the church. Pushpay, which about 3,000
congregations employ, works similarly;
worshipers decide whether to donate to a
general budget or a specific program the
institution designates. Another, EasyTithe,
features a text-to-give option. It also provides
technology for a Square-like credit card reader
to await the faithful in church lobbies.
Regardless of which app a congregation
chooses, the point is convenience.
“We call it frictionless giving,” says Dean
Sweetman, Tithe.ly’s co-founder and a former
minister at C3 Atlanta. He designed the app
with C3’s wallet-light clientele in mind: “We see
people giving all times of day and night.
Nothing stands in the way.”
Apparently not. Churches using tithing apps
report they see more donations, more often,
from more people. (Subscribing establishments
either pay a monthly fee or allow the app to
collect a cut of each gift. Tithe.ly lets donators
cover this; Pushpay promises churches a 5
percent spike in donations or their money
back.) But getting parishes with pastors and
members older than 40 to sign on has been
more Job-like.
Tradition is hard to overcome. “In some
churches, if you let the plate go by and you
don’t put something in, you feel a little guilty,”
says Brad Hill, who works in platform services
at EasyTithe. To combat that, some
congregations print out cards that say, “I gave
online.”
Ciamacco’s friend James Crocker, also 25,
says it’s much more awkward to donate the old
way: “Putting your personal credit card details
on a piece of paper and leaving it there? For
millennials, there’s no way.” Ciamacco agrees,
if for different reasons. “I was so anti writing
my name on an envelope—it was a holier-than-
thou thing,” he says. “When Tithe.ly came out, I
was like, ‘Hell, yeah.’ ”

It annoys me whenever people blame Buhari for Fulani herdsmen attacks Obasanjo
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday said he gets really
annoyed when Nigerians, particularly state governors, blame President
Buhari for the various attacks being carried out by Fulani herdsmen in
some parts of the country. Obasanjo expressed his displeasure when he
spoke at an agriculture seminar in Abuja organised by Lift Above Poverty
Organisation (LAPO), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
“Some of the words that have been coming out from our leaders, particularly from state governors, are not helpful; they are not helpful. This issue is not a federal issue and another thing I don’t like about it is that when you talk of Fulani herdsmen, people talk of the President. Now because the President of Nigeria is a Fulani man, then you would expect him to jump up and say this one is condemned and all that, no. That is not his job. And when people make comments like this, it annoys me. They say the President hasn’t said anything about this, that he used to be the patron of something…, but I believe that the ranching thing failed because the states and the local governments failed to do what they ought to have done.”he said.

Nigeria Vice President Osinbajo speaks on arrest of some judges, says "If we don't kill corruption, it will kill us"
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was a guest on Channels TV where he was
asked about the recent arrest of some judges by the DSS. Osinbajo who is
a Professor of Law and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, said he would
rather not make an informal statement on the matter but that going by a
general overview, what is being fought in this instance is corruption
and that going by what his boss President Buhari, says, if we don’t kill
corruption, it will kill us. He says the people who loot Nigeria’s
territory have the means to hire the best lawyers who also are able to
keep a case in court for 5-10 years.
“I don’t want to make off the cuff(informal) but as a general remark, my
position is that we are dealing with an problem. We are dealing with an
existential problem. It accounts for everything. Look at what happened
in the North East. Many many soldiers lost their lives. Speaking to some
of the widows of these soldiers, you are just outraged by the fact that
people embezzled the money that was supposed to have been used to equip
the soldiers. Equip them physically, give them bulletproof vest, put
them in proper armored tanks rather than fake armored tanks. These are
the sorts of things that anywhere else in the world, the outrage will be
such that you and I would literarily be standing up on the streets to
say where are these guys who did this and if we don’t feel that way, it
just continues to diminish us. My son was asking me the other day that
these people who did all these things, stole N50 billion and others, I
haven’t seen any of them locked up. I said we have a system. We have got
to follow the rule of law. We are doing so. We have got to take them to
a court of law. We are not in a society where we are just going to tie
someone to a stick and shoot them. We have got to go to a court of law.
Many of those who do these things have the resources to hire the best
lawyers who can keep a case in court for 5 years, 10 years. So we have
got to keep fighting that also”he said

Miley Cyrus Lets her Fans Touch her Vagina and Butt during performance!
Pop star Miley Cyrus is all too familiar with controversy.
However, anything that Miley may have done on stage in the past is child's play compared to a recent video that shows the artist going too far by letting her fans get way too close.
Rather than reach down and high five her screaming fans like most artists do, Miley took it upon herself to let her fans actually grope her vagina and rear end during a performance.
As if that wasn't enough, Miley proceeded to lock lips with some of her fans, as well.
From the looks of it, Miley didn't care whether it was a male or a female who was touching her, and that's likely because she considers herself neither gay nor straight... but pansexual.
Miley explained that over the years she has felt neither fully feminine or masculine, and she was attracted to both males and females alike. But she never liked identifying herself as bisexual.

Militant leader gives condition to stop violence
A tough militant and leader of the Bakassi
Strike Force (BSF) in Cross River state, who
goes by the name Benjamin, has given his
conditions for the group to stop their activities
in their stronghold.
Popularly known as G1, Benjamin, on Monday,
October 17, 2016, said his group would
continue to fight for the people of Bakassi until
the Greentree Agreement is observed by all the
parties involved.
Militants in the Bakassi area give condition
Apart from this, he said the military must be
withdrawn from Bakassi local government
area.
The Greentree Agreement was the formal
treaty which resolved the Cameroon-Nigeria
border dispute concerning the Bakassi
peninsula.
In the agreement reached on June 12, 2006,
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, then Nigerian
president as well as the Cameroonian
President Paul Biya, signed for the withdrawal
of troops and transfer of authority in the
Peninsula.
The agreement was that the Nigerian troops
would be withdrawn within 60 days but allowed
for a possible 30-day extension while Nigeria
was allowed to keep its civil administration and
police in Bakassi for another two years.
But Benjamin, wanted by the Army in
connection with alleged criminal activites as
wwell as the killing of a soldier in September,
thinks this agreement was not honoured.
He argued that Bakassi was ceded to
Cameroun without consideration to human
rights provisions and what the people of the
area want.
In a signed statement reported by The New
Telegraph, Benjamin, for the first time, spoke
out saying: “Again, I want to unequivocally state
that I am not a terrorist as people outside are
made to believe; but I will not sit down and allow
my people suffer from intimidation, neglect and
oppression.

Nigeria’s First Lady Says She May Not Support President Buhari In Next Election; Her Reasons Will Shock You!
Nigeria’s First Lady,
Aisha Buhari, has warned
her husband, President
Muhammadu Buhari that
she is likely not to support
him in the 2019 elections,
for a second tenure.
Speaking in a BBC
interview with Naziru
Mikailu, the wife of the
Nigerian
President revealed that the
county’s government has
been hijacked by a “few
people” who are behind
presidential appointments.
Aisha Buhari lamented
over several factors
surrounding
the unprecedented fall in
the country’s economy
which is said to be in
recession. She revealed
that the President himself
does not even know most
of the top officials he has
appointed. According to
Nigeria’s First Lady,
She continued that most
of these appointees do not
share the vision of his
party, the All Progressives
Congress (APC), and as a
result; are destroying the
supposed legacy they are
meant to leave
behind. She
however, mentioned the
improvement of security in
the north-east of Nigeria,
as her husband’s major
achievement.
President Muhammadu
Buhari was elected in
2015 with the promise of
bringing about a change,
and specifically to tackle
corruption and nepotism in
government. But the
reverse has since been
the case in Nigeria,
considering the profound
depreciation of the
economy, which has
literally brought the people
to tears.
When asked to name
those who had hijacked
the government, the First
Lady refused calling
names but rather, told the
interviewer to watch out
for them on the TV.
She warned that although
her husband has not told
her if he would contest in
the 2019 election, she may
not back him unless he
‘shakes up’ his
government. She stressed
that if things continue the
way they are up to 2019,
she will not go out and
campaign again, asking
any woman to vote like
she did before.
Her interview has sparked
up controversies among
political stakeholders.
Authorities had tried
preventing BBC from
airing the controversial
interview, but the service
had maintained the only
way it will not air the
interview is for the
interviewee, Aisha Buhari,
to decide against it.

Nana Addo mobbed by supporters at Nima
Some residents in Nima poured out onto the
streets to welcome the Flagbearer of the New
Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to
the Ayawaso East constituency, as he resumed
his tour of the Greater Accra Region.
In an interaction with Muslim clerics at the
Alesuna Mosque, Nana Akufo-Addo noted that
when the time is due for elections, there are some
who, for political gain, will infiltrate Zongo
communities and seek to foist division, on
religious lines, amongst the people.
“They will say Akufo-Addo hates Muslims, does
not like people resident in Zongo communities, so
as to put fear in you. There is not an iota of truth
in any of this. Of all the presidential candidates
contesting this year’s elections, I’m the only one
who has selected a Muslim to be my running
mate,” Nana Akufo-Addo said.
The NPP flagbearer further explained that his
choice of Dr. Bawumia, since 2008, was because
“with Christianity and Islam being the two
dominant religions in Ghana, unity amongst these
two religions will help spur on the country’s
development.”
“The Muslim I chose is not just a Muslim, but a
very brilliant Muslim, who can help develop the
nation with his indepth knowledge.”
